How I Am Putting My Animation Together

Since I don't have After Effects or Premiere at home, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to turn my rendered image sequences into .mov files! I have been rendering at HD 1080 .jpeg files, and at 24fps so although I could see my progress in the scene file, I wasn't able to turn the sequences into actual film clips.

I started off by googling different ideas, and one advised me to use Quicktime Player. I didn't end up having the option of importing images in my version of Quicktime, therefore I had to think of something else. Imovie wouldn't let me import my files, and I couldn't use Photoshop gifs either as I needed to have a specific frame rate.

Therefore I went onto the Mac App store on my laptop and downloaded an amazing and really handy app named 'Zeitraffer'. It sounds completely obscure, but in actuality is the easiest program to use.
I was able to choose my location that my images were in, and to make it easier on myself, I had different image scenes in different files so I would know what was what (for example Scene 9).
Then once I clicked 'export' I could then name the .mov file, change the frame rate and choose where I wanted it to be exported and voila! I found this to be a lifesaver for me and anyone who doesn't have the whole Adobe cloud. Especially since I am not always in university, so it is so easy for me to put my sequences together and in the perfect formats!
