What I want to get out of this module:
1) How to work in a group with students who own different skill sets.
2) How to work for a professional client!
3) How to take specific briefs and make them my own.
4) Learning new skills, being adventurous with techniques!
5) Organising myself and my time wisely.
6) Familiarise with an area of interest ?
7) Confidence!
8) Be more professional.
9) Learn how to research properly.
10) Have fun!
How will I do this:
1) Be open to working with new people from different courses (get out of my comfort zone, experiment with style!)
2) Choose variety of briefs, don't limit myself.
3) Read between the lines, push the boundaries (carefully).
4) Don't go for the obvious route, use different materials, mediums, etc.
5) Make a schedule, keep on top of other work too.
6) Choose briefs that really interest me?! Connect with the topics!
7) Do things that make me uncomfortable, put myself forward for things I wouldn't normally.
8) Read guidelines and understand what is being asked of me. No tangents.
9) Think of everything, research everything, no limits here!
10) Be in the moment, don't rush!
