This is the last piece I made for the Take 5 brief. I really wanted to use sound waves at some point and the colours I experimented with, therefore this is the pieces I expanded upon:
This animation I wanted to be pretty minimalistic because that is what the sound is. I initially couldn't describe the sound because it didn't really alter for its duration and all I could think of was that it was 'wirey'. I don't really like minimalistic things so I'm not sure how I feel about this animation overall. I think it does represent the sound and emphasise it, but it is definitely not my go to aesthetic apart from the colour palette for the background. So therefore it was a challenge for me, and it did make me step out of my comfort zone, but at least I experimented with it, even if it isn't my favourite of the Take 5 sounds overall. I also didn't use a timeline to work from this time around because there is absolutely no rise and fall/easing in or out with this sound therefore I thought it was pretty pointless.
