These were the two piece from my experimentation that I chose to develop into an animation:
The reason why I chose these two, was that I felt like they incorporated all the aspects that described the sound; graininess, sporadicalness with some sense of order. I wanted to then animate them so that they move in sporadic ways, but kind of morphed into each frame. I also didn't feel like I needed a timeline to work from this time, because I wanted to be sporadic with the piece, just like how it sounds. This is what I came up with:
I actually really like it, because it is so abstract. It looks messy like the sound clip but it has a way of transitioning into each frame like there is some sort of order. I chose to go for the black and white colour scheme as opposed to the red, because I like the glossier look. I also tried to animate it so that some parts of the animation would go faster when the sound gets louder which I think I did well.
Overall this was really fun to animate because it was so bizarre. There is no narrative, just abstract and though this was hard for me, I ended up really enjoying it.
