This is my mood board for The Discovery Channel, and I really love it! I have looked at specific areas including, their logo, their channels contents and colour schemes. Immediately I can see that everything surrounding The Discovery Channel, is very vibrant and full of colour, so that is definitely something I will be considering when I go in to develop ideas. I think the best way for me to do this would be digitally since colour payoff here is usually at its peak. And since I am considering stop motion for my other ident, then I think it would be a fair balance to use this medium.
Just looking at this mood board is making me inspired to do this project and I am also excited to see what ideas I can develop from it! I find that finding ideas from something visual is much more satisfying than trying to get ideas from definitions which is what I have done in past projects. So I wonder how well I will be able to progress doing it this way for a change.
