Responsive: Collaborative Progress Crit - Peer Feedback

In our latest responsive session we filled out a peer feedback form where we told members in our group what we have done and where we are up to. It was really interesting to see how people were getting along with their new creative partners, as well as how far they have gotten since our first Pitcha Pitcha night.

My partner was not in class that day, but I still spoke about where we were up to and what we were to do for our next session. I talked about our team organisation and how we have a group chat where we all decide on when to meet or send each other images that inspire us. I think this is a really strong aspect to have in a group because it means that we are always on the same page and aren't afraid to contact each other.

I also talked about our project strategy. We have agreed so far to think of one concept each and then come back to each other and refine our idea into one solid one, and then start the production stage. We are aiming to make a final mock up of the display because we only have around six weeks left to make it so time wise, there is no way we could make a 2x6m display in that period.

Lastly I talked about how we have thought about what is coming out in 2016 and how we can incorporate this into our display to make is relevant and eye catching. We looks at fashion trends, movie releases and events. I think we have done an okay amount of work for the time being especially compared to others after discussing their plans with them. I am worried that we only have a short amount of time left, but I am excited to work with new people who have a lot of new ideas!

Peer review summary:
- Stay organised and keep regular meetings
- Keep contacting each other through group chat (some people haven't at all)
- Try and think of lots of ideas before committing
- Don't be afraid to say no
- Maybe make mock up of design, will be have time to build?
- Think about displaying concept only, don't need to make it physically (not a requirement).
