Pose to Pose - Experiment

For the second part of our pose to pose task, we were to apply the same principles but to an animation of our choice. I originally started off with a ball bouncing between two walls, but I found that I wanted to experiment more with a little something ambitious. Therefore I had an idea to animate a fly flying behind someone and focus on timing and secondary action of hair, as well as squash and stretch of the fly.

The first time I played with this, I found my timing to be a little too slow i.e, I had too many frames of the fly flying around in a circle, and the animation looked like it was lagging a little bit. Therefore I deleted some of the in between frames to fasten the speed of the fly up.

In the end I think the animation of the fly went alright. I feel like the hair is a little choppy, because I found it to be so difficult to make it move dramatically. However I feel like this was a good learning process. Next time I know to not make the in between frames of the hair less dramatic, so that it looks more natural, but I think I got a feel for timing a lot better than the last with regards to the fly.
